It's a question of culture!

As part of the work surrounding the renewal of its cultural policy, the City of Vaudreuil-Dorion would like to learn about the habits and expectations of its citizens as they relate to culture. The City is therefore launching an online survey today to ensure that the policy and the resulting action plan will reflect the true image of the population. The survey requires only about ten minutes to complete.

"Over the past few months, we have met with various actors of the community through focus groups. It is now the public’s turn to make its voice heard. What do our citizens want? Access to art classes? A place where they can play a musical instrument? Additional shows or urban works of art? A building dedicated to culture? This is the information we are hoping to collect through the survey. I am urging all residents to take advantage of this opportunity to contribute their point of view on how culture is experienced in Vaudreuil-Dorion, and how they wish to experience it in future years," explains Chloé Marcil, Head of Culture and Community Life for the City of Vaudreuil-Dorion.

Over 10 years ago, Vaudreuil-Dorion chose to make culture a priority. Over the years, multiple projects have been set up that have allowed the City to stand out in this niche. Given that the last cultural policy was adopted in 2013, the time has come to renew it to ensure the effective and sustained development of culture in the territory. This policy will include a new vision and the new objectives that come with it, and will once again testify to the importance of culture in the community’s development.
