Tristan Guay is a singer-songwriter with an assertive French accent. Navigating between folk rock and pop, he explores refreshing surf sounds. In 2022, he opened for several of his idols, including Ariane Moffatt and the two members of Karkwa, playing several shows between the Outaouais region and Quebec City. At the 2022 Festival international de la chanson de Granby, he reached the semi-finals of the Grand Concours and won the Taxi Promo - Disques Passeport prize. He then participated in Ma première Place des Arts and reached the final of the Tremplin de Dégelis. We discover him more fully on his very first EP Dans une autre vie, in which Tristan writes a diary of the collision of two parallel, sometimes contradictory lives, which he is still trying to reconcile.
