Parc de la Maison-Valois

With its skating oval, walking and snow scooter trail, and sliding hill, the parc de la Maison-Valois is a winter destination to discover.

Opening hours

January 2 to March 3:
Monday to Friday, 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

  • Free hot drinks for residents with proof of residency, Saturdays and Sundays ($1 for non-residents).

Equipment rental

Skates and snowshoes

Monday to Friday, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
and Saturdays and Sundays, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

at Chalet Valois

  • Sizes for children and adults
  • Free service for Vaudreuil-Dorion residents only
  • Proof of residence required for rental
  • A piece of identification must be left at the kiosk by a person aged 14 or over for the duration of the rental.

Snowskate boards, scooters, tubes and helmets

January 2 to March 3:
Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

at the rental container (next to the sliding hill)

Tubes: free for residents and non-residents

Sliding hill

The winter slide is now open for the 2023-2024 season.

The winter sliding hill is divided into two sections: a tubing and sliding area, and a snowskate park.

Open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
On March 2nd, 8th, and 9th, the winter slide will be open from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. with equipment rental available.

The hill is lit when the sun is down.

Rules

  • Use safe sliding equipment, respect the instructions for use and keep feet and hands inside the equipment while sliding.
  • Make sure the course is clear before starting down the slope.
  • Do not slide in groups or headfirst.
  • Clear the bottom of the slopes as quickly as possible without interfering with the sliding of other users.
  • Use only the lift corridors.
  • It is forbidden to access the site outside opening hours or when the "Glissade fermée" sign is posted.
  • Children aged 10 and under must be supervised by an adult.
  • Helmets are strongly recommended.
  • In case of emergency, call 911.

Snow park

This section is designed for tricks and jumps on modules.

Reserved for snowskate practice.

Rules

  • Helmets are mandatory.
  • Snowskating involves risks.
  • For safety reasons, it is preferable to practice this activity in the presence of a third party.
  • Children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
  • To avoid collisions, only users are allowed in the snow park.
  • Respectful behavior is required to ensure the safety of all users.
  • It is recommended that modules be inspected before use, and throughout the day.
  • It is forbidden to access the site outside opening hours or when the Parc à neige fermé sign is displayed.
  • In case of emergency, call 911.
